The Vice President of Logistics & Distribution will have a broad and impactful scope of responsibilities, encompassing strategic leadership, operational execution, financial stewardship, and team development. - Strategic Leadership & Network Optimization: Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term strategy for the company’s logistics and distribution network. This includes network design, capacity planning, and the strategic placement of new facilities to support business growth and enhance service levels. Continuously analyze and optimize the flow of goods, transportation routes, and carrier partnerships to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of operational excellence across all distribution centers. Implement and enforce best practices in warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and reverse logistics. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive process enhancements, eliminate waste, and increase productivity.
- P&L Management & Financial Acumen: Assume full P&L responsibility for the logistics and distribution division. Develop and manage annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and financial forecasts. Meticulously track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost-per-unit, on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turns, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.

- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
