Strategic Vision & Leadership

Develop, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy that supports the company’s rapid growth objectives and long-term business goals. Translate strategic business needs into actionable, data-driven talent plans.

Team Management & Development

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of recruiters, sourcers, and talent operations professionals. Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, accountability, and collaboration within the TA function. Drive team performance through clear goals, regular feedback, and effective resource allocation.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

Design, implement, and optimize scalable talent acquisition processes, systems, and tools (ATS, CRM, sourcing platforms) to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring velocity. Ensure best-in-class recruiting operations from requisition to onboarding.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

Champion and evolve the company’s cutting-edge employer branding strategies to attract diverse, top-tier talent in competitive markets. Oversee the creation of compelling career content and ensure an exceptional, consistent, and positive candidate experience across all touchpoints.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Develop and execute innovative DEI strategies within talent acquisition to build diverse candidate pipelines and foster an inclusive hiring culture. Partner with HR and business leaders to embed DEI principles throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

Stakeholder Partnership

Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, hiring managers, and HR business partners on all talent-related matters, including workforce planning, market trends, compensation insights, and organizational design. Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization.

Data Analytics & Reporting

Vendor Management

Ensure all talent acquisition practices are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations, maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Requirements for the Head of Talent Acquisition – Hyper-Growth Tech Unicorn – San Francisco, CA

Extensive Talent Acquisition Experience

Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (Director or Head level) specifically within a high-growth technology company or a tech-focused startup that has successfully scaled.

Advanced ATS & CRM Proficiency

Hands-on experience with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, Lever) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Familiarity with various sourcing platforms and recruitment technologies.

Executive Presence & Communication

Education
