To navigate this exciting journey, they are seeking a strategic, analytical, and visionary Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join their executive leadership team.
This is not just a numbers role; it is a pivotal strategic position that will shape the future of the company. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Head of FP&A will be the financial conscience of the organization, a key business partner to the CEO and other department heads, and the architect of the company’s financial roadmap. You will be responsible for building and leading a world-class FP&A function from the ground up, providing the critical insights and data-driven analysis that will guide strategic decisions, optimize resource allocation, and fuel sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, possesses a deep understanding of SaaS and FinTech business models, and has a proven track record of scaling finance operations. You will be instrumental in everything from long-range strategic planning and fundraising to day-to-day operational analysis and performance management. If you are a builder at heart and are passionate about leveraging finance to drive business impact, this is a unique opportunity to make your mark on a future industry leader.

Strategic Financial Planning
Lead the development of the company’s long-range financial plan, annual operating budget, and rolling forecasts. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to translate strategic initiatives into a comprehensive financial model that serves as the company’s operating blueprint.
Advanced Financial Modeling
Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated and dynamic financial models to support a wide range of strategic and operational activities. This includes developing models for new product launches, market expansion, M&A evaluation, capital allocation decisions, and future fundraising rounds (Series B, C, and beyond).
Performance Analysis & Management Reporting
Drive a deep understanding of business performance by leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. You will be responsible for preparing detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual), identifying key trends, and communicating actionable insights to stakeholders through clear and concise management dashboards, board materials, and investor updates.
Business Partnership & Decision Support
Act as a trusted financial advisor to department leaders across the organization (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, etc.). You will provide them with the financial tools, data, and insights necessary to manage their budgets, evaluate ROI on key initiatives, and make informed, data-driven decisions that align with overall company goals.
KPI Development and Tracking
Define, track, and analyze key financial and operational metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, ARR, Churn, Gross Margin). You will establish a robust framework for performance measurement and create dashboards that provide real-time visibility into the health of the business for the leadership team.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing FP&A team. You will foster a culture of excellence, intellectual curiosity, and continuous improvement, empowering your team to become true strategic partners to the business.
Process & Systems Implementation
As the company scales, you will lead the evaluation and implementation of new financial planning systems and business intelligence (BI) tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and analytical capabilities. You will champion the adoption of best practices in financial planning and analysis to build a scalable and robust finance infrastructure.
Capital Markets & Investor Relations Support
Play a critical role in supporting future fundraising efforts by preparing investor presentations, managing due diligence processes, and articulating the company’s financial story to potential investors. You will also assist in maintaining ongoing relationships with the investment community.
