Key Responsibilities of Chief Commercial Officer – San Francisco, CA
The Chief Commercial Officer will have a broad and impactful scope of responsibilities, encompassing the full spectrum of commercial activities. Key duties include:
Strategic Commercial Leadership
Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive, multi-year commercial strategy that aligns with the company’s overall mission and financial objectives. Requirements for the Chief Commercial Officer – San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a seasoned executive with a distinguished career in the medical device industry. The qualifications for this critical role are rigorous and reflect the level of impact expected.
Experience
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive commercial experience in the medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences industry. At least 7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP of Sales/Marketing, General Manager, CCO) with full P&L responsibility.
Proven Track Record
Demonstrable success in scaling a commercial organization and driving exponential revenue growth, preferably taking a company through key inflection points (e.g., from pre-commercial to $100M+ in revenue).
Industry Expertise
Deep domain expertise in the medical device sector is essential. Experience with Class II or Class III devices, capital equipment, and/or single-use disposables is highly desirable. Educational Background
