Key Responsibilities of Partner, Restructuring & Turnaround with a Consulting Firm – Houston, TX

Client Engagement & Strategic Advisory
Serve as the lead engagement Partner on complex restructuring and turnaround assignments. This includes providing hands-on leadership in crisis situations, acting in interim management roles such as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), and advising clients on strategic alternatives. You will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive turnaround plans, including liquidity management, business plan assessment, cost reduction initiatives, and operational improvements.
Financial Restructuring & Negotiations
Lead negotiations with diverse stakeholder groups, including senior lenders, bondholders, unsecured creditors, and equity sponsors. Direct the development of sophisticated financial models to support valuation, debt capacity analysis, and liquidation scenarios. Guide clients through in-court and out-of-court restructuring processes, including Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Business Development & Market Leadership
Act as the face of the practice in the Houston and greater Southwest market. Professional Experience
