The VP of Global Sourcing will direct all aspects of sourcing and procurement, ensuring the company has the most cost-effective and highest-quality supply base. Responsibilities are broad and strategic, requiring a blend of analytical rigor and leadership prowess.

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Develop, articulate, and implement a comprehensive, multi-year global sourcing strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term growth objectives, financial targets, and sustainability goals.

Requirements for the VP of Global Sourcing with a Consumer Goods Company – Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished leader with a proven track record of success in building and leading global sourcing organizations within the consumer goods sector.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity overseeing a global team.

Direct experience in the consumer goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or a related industry is absolutely essential.

  • Demonstrable track record of developing and executing global sourcing strategies that have delivered significant cost savings, improved quality, and enhanced supplier performance.
  • Extensive experience managing a large, complex spend across multiple categories (direct and indirect) and geographies.
