We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished leader with a proven track record of success in building and leading global sourcing organizations within the consumer goods sector.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity overseeing a global team.
Direct experience in the consumer goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or a related industry is absolutely essential.
- Demonstrable track record of developing and executing global sourcing strategies that have delivered significant cost savings, improved quality, and enhanced supplier performance.
- Extensive experience managing a large, complex spend across multiple categories (direct and indirect) and geographies.
- Proven expertise in sourcing from low-cost countries and emerging markets, with deep knowledge of the supplier landscape in Asia, Latin America, and/or Eastern Europe.
- Strong background in contract law, complex negotiations, and supplier relationship management at an executive level.
