Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop, articulate, and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall corporate objectives and ensures sustainable, profitable growth.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new commercial opportunities, competitive threats, and evolving customer needs. Translate these insights into actionable sales plans for different regions and product lines.
- Establish and manage annual and quarterly sales forecasts, budgets, and performance targets. Ensure rigorous monitoring of KPIs and sales metrics to drive performance and provide accurate reporting to the executive team and board of directors.
- Architect and optimize sales territories, channel strategies (direct, distributor, hybrid), and go-to-market models to maximize market penetration and sales efficiency across all global regions.

Leadership & Team Development

Sales Operations & Commercial Excellence
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
- Champion the use of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and generate actionable insights for forecasting and strategic planning.
- Establish and refine sales processes and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and predictability of the sales function.
- Collaborate with the finance department on budgeting, forecasting, and the management of sales expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere to strict global regulatory compliance standards, including AdvaMed, FDA, and other international regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), major hospital systems, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and strategic distribution partners worldwide.
- Serve as a key company spokesperson at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Work in close partnership with the Marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, lead generation campaigns, and product launch strategies.
- Provide critical market feedback to the R&D and Product Development teams to inform the next generation of products and ensure the company’s portfolio remains innovative and competitive.

We are seeking a candidate with a distinguished career in medical device sales leadership. The specific qualifications and attributes for this role include:
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience within the medical device, med-tech, or life sciences industry.
Leadership Experience
At least 7 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role (e.g., Director, Senior Director, or VP) with a proven track record of managing and scaling a global or large regional sales team.
Global Expertise
Demonstrable experience managing sales operations across multiple international markets, including direct and distributor-based models. Deep understanding of the nuances of healthcare systems in North America, Europe, and Asia.
