Key Responsibilities of VP of Finance (SaaS) – Boston, MA
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial plans, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range strategic models. Provide in-depth financial analysis of business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making. Drive scenario planning and financial modeling to support new initiatives, product launches, and market expansion.
Financial Operations & Reporting
Oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury management. Strategic Business Partnering

Team Leadership & Development

Risk Management & Compliance

Requirements for the VP of Finance (SaaS) – Boston, MA
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. An MBA or CPA certification is highly preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP of Finance, Head of Finance, Senior Director of Finance) within a high-growth SaaS or technology company. SaaS Expertise
