The Operating Partner’s responsibilities are multifaceted, requiring a blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and executive leadership. You will be accountable for driving measurable improvements in performance across a diverse portfolio of software and cloud companies.

Portfolio Strategy & Value Creation

Collaborate with investment professionals and portfolio company management to develop and implement 100-day plans and long-term strategic roadmaps. Identify and prioritize key value creation levers, such as pricing optimization, international expansion, new market entry, and channel strategy, to accelerate revenue growth and enhance profitability.

Operational Leadership & Mentorship

Act as a trusted advisor, mentor, and coach to portfolio company CEOs and their leadership teams. Provide expert guidance on organizational design, talent acquisition and retention, and fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. Go-to-Market (GTM) Excellence

Conduct comprehensive assessments of the sales, marketing, and customer success functions. Implement best practices and scalable processes for demand generation, sales execution, and customer retention. Product & Technology Scalability

Partner with portfolio company CTOs and CPOs to align product roadmaps with market demands and strategic business goals. Champion the adoption of modern cloud infrastructure and development methodologies to create a sustainable competitive advantage.

Pre-Investment Diligence

Play a critical role in the pre-investment diligence process. Conduct in-depth operational, commercial, and technical assessments of potential acquisition targets. M&A and Integration Leadership

Performance Management & Reporting

We are seeking a world-class operator with a demonstrable history of success in building and scaling technology companies. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Executive Leadership Experience

A minimum of 15-20 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a C-suite leadership role (e.g., CEO, COO, President, General Manager) within a B2B software, SaaS, or cloud services company. A proven track record of scaling a business through significant growth, ideally from $10M-$20M to over $100M in annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Operational Mastery

Deep, hands-on expertise across all core business functions, including sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and customer success. You must be able to credibly lead strategic discussions and drive tactical execution in each of these areas.

Private Equity Acumen

Prior experience working in a private equity-backed company is strongly preferred. This demonstrates a fundamental understanding of the pace, metrics-driven approach, and governance structures inherent in a PE environment. Direct experience as an Operating Partner or Advisor is a significant plus.

Financial & Analytical Skills

Exceptional financial literacy and a highly analytical mindset. The ability to dissect financial statements, critically evaluate business models, and deeply understand key SaaS metrics, including customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV), is essential.

Transactional Experience

Demonstrable experience with M&A activities is required. This includes participating in due diligence processes and, critically, leading post-merger integration efforts to capture value.

Educational Background
