The EVP of Asset Management will have a broad and demanding set of responsibilities, requiring a blend of strategic foresight, analytical rigor, and inspirational leadership. Key duties are categorized as follows:

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive, forward-looking strategy for the Asset Management division that aligns with the firm’s overarching goals and market outlook.
  • Drive significant growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) through strategic initiatives, new product development, and market expansion.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities and mitigate potential risks.

Portfolio Management & Performance

  • Provide ultimate oversight for all investment portfolios, ensuring strategies are implemented effectively and performance targets are met or exceeded.
  • Champion a disciplined and research-driven investment process across all asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and other alternative investments.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all portfolios and investment teams, conducting regular performance reviews and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure the integration of advanced quantitative analysis and financial modeling to support investment decisions and portfolio construction.

Client Relationship & Business Development

  • Serve as the senior relationship manager for the firm’s most significant institutional and high-net-worth clients, fostering deep, trust-based partnerships.
  • Lead business development efforts to attract and onboard new clients, working closely with the marketing and sales teams to craft compelling value propositions.
  • Effectively communicate investment strategies, market insights, and portfolio performance to clients, consultants, and board members through sophisticated presentations and detailed reports.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Design and implement a robust, firm-wide risk management framework to identify, measure, monitor, and control investment and operational risks.

Candidates must possess an exceptional combination of academic credentials, professional experience, and leadership qualities to be considered for this executive role.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in the asset management or investment management industry.
  • At least 10 years in a senior leadership capacity (e.g., Managing Director, CIO, Head of Asset Management) with direct P&L responsibility and experience managing a significant AUM base (>$10 billion).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a highly regarded institution.
