Clinical Strategy and Leadership
Develop and execute the company’s long-term clinical vision and strategy in alignment with overall business objectives. Serve as the primary source of clinical and medical expertise for the executive team, board of directors, and internal departments. Product Development and Innovation
Provide critical clinical input throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and design to development, validation, and post-market surveillance. Patient Safety and Quality Management

Requirements for the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) with a Health-Tech Firm – Boston, MA
Medical Degree
An M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school is required.
Licensure and Certification
Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States. Board certification in a relevant medical specialty is strongly preferred.
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the healthcare sector, with at least 7-10 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP, CMO, Medical Director) within a health-tech, digital health, medical device, or biopharmaceutical company.
Clinical and Research Expertise
Significant experience in clinical practice is essential. A proven track record of designing, executing, and overseeing clinical trials and research programs is required. Experience with digital therapeutics or software as a medical device (SaMD) is highly desirable.
Regulatory Knowledge
Deep, hands-on experience with the FDA and other global regulatory bodies. Must have a thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape for digital health technologies, including pathways for clearance and approval.

Location
