Strategic Vision & Leadership
Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive, forward-thinking enterprise data and analytics strategy that is intrinsically linked to the company’s core business objectives. Team Development & Mentorship
Recruit, build, and lead a high-performance, multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and data governance professionals. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment that attracts and retains top-tier talent.
Data Governance & Quality
Establish and oversee a robust, enterprise-wide data governance framework. Implement policies, standards, and processes to ensure data quality, integrity, privacy, and security. Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant healthcare data standards.
Advanced Analytics & AI Innovation
Drive the development and deployment of advanced analytical models, including predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, to solve complex business problems. Technology & Infrastructure Oversight

Cross-Functional Partnership

Performance Measurement & Reporting
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and build sophisticated dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track business performance, measure the ROI of data initiatives, and communicate insights effectively to the executive team and Board of Directors.
External Thought Leadership
Represent the company as a thought leader in data and analytics within the medical device industry at conferences, forums, and in publications, enhancing the company’s brand and reputation for innovation.
Requirements for the Chief Data and Analytics Officer – Philadelphia, PA
Educational Background
An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in the data and analytics domain, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership capacity (e.g., VP, Head of Data, CDO, CDAO) managing large, multi-functional teams.
Industry Expertise
Proven experience within a highly regulated industry is mandatory. Strong preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
