Role Overview for SVP, Global HR with a Technology Hardware Co. – Phoenix, AZ
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and serving as a key member of the C-suite, the SVP, Global HR will be the chief architect and steward of the company’s human capital strategy. This is not a back-office HR role; it is a strategic business partner position with significant influence and impact on the company’s overall direction and performance. You will be a trusted advisor to the CEO, the Board of Directors, and the entire executive team on all matters related to talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of developing and executing sophisticated HR strategies in a complex, high-growth, global technology or manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the human resources function, including talent acquisition, organizational development, succession planning, compensation and benefits, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and HR operations. Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, translating business objectives into a comprehensive, forward-looking global HR strategy. Provide insightful counsel on organizational design, change management, M&A integration, and workforce planning to support long-term growth.
Talent Acquisition & Management
Architect and lead a world-class global talent acquisition function capable of attracting top-tier engineering, operational, and commercial talent in highly competitive markets. Develop and implement robust talent management and succession planning processes to build a strong leadership pipeline and ensure business continuity.
Culture & Organizational Development
Be the primary champion of the company’s culture and values. Design and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, foster a diverse and inclusive environment, and drive a high-performance mindset across all levels of the organization. Lead learning and development programs that build critical skills and leadership capabilities.
Total Rewards Strategy
Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of a competitive global compensation and benefits strategy. Ensure that total rewards programs are aligned with business objectives, market-competitive, and effective in attracting and retaining top talent. This includes executive compensation design in partnership with the CEO and Compensation Committee of the Board.
Employee Relations & Global Compliance
Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues and ensure a fair and respectful work environment. HR Operations & Analytics

Requirements for the SVP, Global HR with a Technology Hardware Co. – Phoenix, AZ
This is a demanding senior executive role that requires a unique combination of strategic acumen, operational excellence, and inspirational leadership. We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in HR, Organizational Psychology) is strongly preferred.
Professional Experience
A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role (VP or SVP level) managing a global HR function. Direct experience within the technology hardware, semiconductor, or a related complex manufacturing industry is essential. Experience working in a publicly-traded company is required.
Global Leadership
Demonstrated success leading HR in a large, geographically dispersed organization with a significant presence in North America, Europe, and Asia.
