The Director of Logistics & Distribution is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic oversight and tactical execution of all aspects of the company’s logistics and distribution network. Strategic Network Leadership

Develop, implement, and continuously refine the long-term logistics and distribution network strategy. This includes network modeling, capacity planning, and identifying optimal locations for distribution centers to support market expansion and evolving customer demands.

Warehouse & Distribution Operations

Provide executive oversight for a multi-site network of company-owned and 3PL-managed distribution centers. Establish and enforce best-in-class operational standards for receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and productivity.

Transportation Management

Direct all inbound and outbound transportation activities, including carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management across all modes (FTL, LTL, Parcel, Intermodal). Implement strategies to optimize routes, reduce freight costs, and improve on-time delivery performance.

Financial & Budgetary Oversight

Develop and manage the annual logistics and distribution budget, including warehousing, freight, and labor costs. Conduct variance analysis, provide accurate forecasting, and identify and execute significant cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management

Lead the selection, onboarding, and strategic management of all 3PL partners. Establish rigorous Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Team Development & Mentorship
