Strategic Vision and Leadership
Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term growth objectives. Drive a vision for a digitally-enabled, customer-centric supply chain. Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making.
End-to-End Operations Management
Assume full ownership and accountability for all global supply chain functions. This includes demand planning, inventory optimization, strategic sourcing, procurement, warehouse management, domestic and international transportation, and omnichannel fulfillment. Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize processes and drive operational excellence.
Digital Transformation and Technology
Champion the adoption and integration of cutting-edge supply chain technologies, including AI/ML for predictive analytics and demand forecasting, warehouse automation and robotics, advanced Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and enhanced visibility platforms. Ensure technology investments deliver a clear ROI and enhance operational capabilities.
Financial Acumen and Cost Optimization
Develop and manage the multi-million dollar global supply chain budget, ensuring all financial targets are met. Drive a culture of cost-consciousness and efficiency, identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce cost-to-serve, optimize working capital through effective inventory management, and improve overall profitability.
Supplier and Partner Relationship Management
Oversee the strategic sourcing and procurement teams to build a robust and resilient supplier base. Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight forwarders, and other critical partners. Lead high-stakes negotiations to ensure favorable terms and service levels.
Team Development and Mentorship
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing, global supply chain organization. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Attract, retain, and develop top talent to build a strong leadership pipeline within the supply chain function.
Risk Management and Resiliency
Design and implement a proactive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential disruptions from geopolitical events, natural disasters, trade policy changes, and supplier vulnerabilities. Build a resilient and agile supply chain capable of adapting quickly to unforeseen challenges.
Sustainability and ESG Initiatives
Lead the development and execution of the company’s supply chain sustainability strategy. Drive initiatives focused on ethical sourcing, reducing the carbon footprint of logistics operations, minimizing waste, and promoting circular economy principles in alignment with corporate ESG goals.
Customer-Centric Fulfillment

Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 7-10 years in a senior executive leadership role (e.g., VP, SVP, or CSCO) overseeing a large, complex, global supply chain.
Industry Expertise
Demonstrable experience within the fast-paced global retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or e-commerce sectors is essential. A proven track record of managing multi-channel distribution networks (B2B and D2C) is required.
Transformational Leadership
A history of successfully leading large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives, including technology implementations, process re-engineering, and organizational change management. Must be a visionary leader capable of inspiring teams through ambiguity and change.
Technical and Analytical Skills
Deep expertise in modern supply chain systems and technologies, including Tier 1 ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), WMS, TMS, and advanced planning tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and business intelligence to drive strategic decisions.
Global Operations Experience
Extensive experience managing international logistics, including ocean and air freight, customs compliance, and navigating complex global trade regulations. Experience with both domestic and international sourcing is critical.
