Strategic Vision & Executive Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term strategic plan for the residential division that aligns with the company’s overall objectives. Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, market expansion, and product innovation to enhance market share and profitability.
P&L and Financial Management
Assume full P&L responsibility for the division. Direct the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics. Drive revenue growth and margin improvement through meticulous financial oversight, cost control, and strategic capital allocation.
Land Acquisition & Entitlement Strategy
Lead the land acquisition team in identifying, evaluating, and securing prime land assets for future development. Oversee the complex entitlement and approval process, building strong relationships with municipal authorities and community groups to ensure project success.
Development & Construction Oversight
Supervise the entire development lifecycle from conception to completion. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Implement best practices in project management, design, and construction operations.

Requirements for the President, Residential Division with a National Developer – Los Angeles, CA
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15-20 years of progressive leadership experience within the residential real estate development industry, with at least 5-7 years in a senior executive role (e.g., Division President, EVP, SVP) with full P&L responsibility.
Proven Track Record
Demonstrable success in managing the development of large-scale, complex residential projects, including single-family, multi-family, and/or master-planned communities, from acquisition through to sell-out.
Market Expertise
Deep and nuanced understanding of the Southern California, and specifically the Los Angeles, real estate market, including its unique regulatory, political, and economic challenges and opportunities.
Financial Acumen
Sophisticated financial skills with extensive experience in project financing, underwriting, budgeting, and asset management. Must be adept at creating and analyzing complex financial models to support strategic decisions.

Educational Background
