Key Responsibilities of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) with a Global Endowment – Cambridge, MA
The CIO will have ultimate oversight of the endowment’s investment program. Key responsibilities are comprehensive and strategic, including:
Investment Strategy & Policy Development
Develop, recommend, and implement a long-term strategic asset allocation plan consistent with the endowment’s risk tolerance and return objectives. Continuously review and refine the Investment Policy Statement (IPS) in collaboration with the Investment Committee to ensure it remains relevant and effective in a dynamic market environment.
Portfolio Management & Construction
Oversee all aspects of portfolio construction, including tactical asset allocation adjustments, manager selection, and direct investments. Manage a globally diversified portfolio spanning public equities, fixed income, private equity, venture capital, real estate, natural resources, and hedge funds.
Manager Sourcing & Due Diligence

Risk Management
Design and implement a sophisticated, multi-faceted risk management framework to identify, measure, and mitigate risks across the portfolio. Capital Market Research

Experience
