Strategic Commercial Leadership

Revenue Generation & Growth

Team Building & Mentorship
Recruit, train, and lead a world-class commercial team across sales, marketing, market access, and business development. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Global Marketing & Brand Strategy

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, working collaboratively with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and provide critical market feedback that informs product development and corporate strategy.
Regulatory & Compliance Adherence
Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in strict compliance with industry standards and relevant healthcare laws, including all applicable FDA regulations and promotional guidelines.
Requirements for the Chief Commercial Officer – Los Angeles, CA
We are seeking a candidate with a distinguished career in the medical device industry who possesses the right blend of strategic acumen, operational expertise, and inspirational leadership.
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience within the medical device industry, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (e.g., CCO, VP of Sales & Marketing, General Manager) with full P&L responsibility.
Proven Track Record of Success
Demonstrable history of scaling a commercial organization and driving exponential revenue growth for a medical device company. Experience successfully launching novel technologies into competitive markets is essential.
Deep Industry Knowledge
Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, including hospital purchasing dynamics, GPOs, IDNs, reimbursement pathways (both private and public), and the regulatory environment for medical devices.
Leadership & Team Management
Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing, geographically dispersed teams. A ‘player-coach’ mentality is highly valued.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset
Superior strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Must be highly analytical and data-driven, with proficiency in using CRM and business intelligence tools to forecast, track performance, and derive actionable insights.
