Key Responsibilities of VP, Product Strategy, AI/ML with a FinTech Platform – Austin, TX
AI/ML Product Vision and Strategy
Define, articulate, and evangelize a clear and compelling long-term product vision and strategy for all AI/ML-driven initiatives, ensuring tight alignment with overall company objectives and market opportunities.
Strategic Roadmap Development
Own the end-to-end AI/ML product roadmap, from discovery and conceptualization through launch, iteration, and end-of-life. Prioritize initiatives based on rigorous analysis of customer needs, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.
Market and Customer Intelligence
Serve as the company’s leading expert on the competitive landscape, emerging AI trends, and customer pain points within the FinTech domain. Conduct continuous market research, user interviews, and data analysis to uncover and validate new product opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Execution
Foster a highly collaborative environment, working closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality, scalable products. Bridge the gap between technical and business teams, translating complex AI concepts into actionable product requirements.
Team Building and Mentorship
Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers. Cultivate a culture of innovation, accountability, customer-centricity, and continuous learning within the product organization.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Excellence
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new AI features and products. Define product positioning, messaging, and pricing to ensure successful market adoption and revenue growth.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics to measure success, inform strategic decisions, and guide the product development lifecycle. Champion a culture of hypothesis-driven experimentation and iteration.
Ethical AI and Governance
Champion and implement responsible AI frameworks. Ensure all AI/ML products are developed and deployed with the highest standards of ethics, fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements for the VP, Product Strategy, AI/ML with a FinTech Platform – Austin, TX
Extensive Product Leadership Experience
A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in product management, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director, Senior Director, VP) managing and scaling product teams.
Deep AI/ML Expertise
