The VP of Product Management, Platform will have a broad and impactful set of responsibilities, including:
Platform Vision and Strategic Leadership
Define, articulate, and champion a clear, long-term product vision and strategy for the company’s core platform. This includes conducting in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and technology trend assessments to ensure the platform remains at the forefront of the industry and directly supports overarching company objectives. You will be the primary evangelist for the platform, both internally and externally.
Roadmap Development and Execution
Own the end-to-end platform product roadmap, from ideation to launch and iteration. You will be responsible for prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, customer value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance. You will work closely with engineering leadership to ensure timely, high-quality delivery against the roadmap, managing trade-offs and dependencies effectively.
Team Building and Mentorship

Technical Acumen and Architectural Oversight
Partner closely with senior engineering leaders to influence the platform’s architecture and technology stack. You must possess the technical depth to understand and discuss architectural concepts, scalability challenges, and system design trade-offs related to microservices, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and API design.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the platform’s health, adoption, and business impact. We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of success in platform product management. The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15+ years of experience in product management, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role (Director, Sr. Director, or VP level) managing product teams.
- Demonstrable experience defining and shipping complex, large-scale technical platform products, infrastructure, or API-first products in a SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS environment.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing, geographically distributed product management teams. You are an expert at hiring, coaching, and developing talent.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate a complex technical strategy to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
