Digital Strategy and Visionary Leadership

Develop, articulate, and champion a clear and compelling enterprise-wide digital transformation vision and strategy. Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and other C-suite executives to ensure the digital roadmap is fully integrated with and supportive of the company’s overall business goals. Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.

Execution and Program Management

Lead the end-to-end execution of all digital transformation initiatives. Establish a robust governance framework and a Program Management Office (PMO) to oversee a complex portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the progress and ROI of digital investments.

Smart Factory and Operations (Industry 4.0)

Spearhead the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles across the company’s global manufacturing footprint. Drive the integration of IoT, robotics, AI-driven predictive maintenance, and machine learning to create intelligent, connected, and highly efficient ‘smart factories’. Optimize supply chain and logistics through digital twinning, advanced analytics, and automation.

Data-Driven Culture and Advanced Analytics

Champion the strategic importance of data as a core business asset. Oversee the development of a modern data architecture, governance policies, and analytics capabilities. Enhanced Customer and Employee Experience

Change Management and Organizational Alignment

Serve as the primary evangelist for digital transformation throughout the organization. Stakeholder and Vendor Management

Requirements for the VP, Digital Transformation with a Public Manufacturer – Dallas, TX

Executive Experience

A minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology and business roles, with at least 7-10 years specifically focused on leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives within a complex, global organization.

Industry Background

Deep experience in the manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or a related asset-heavy industry is strongly required. A thorough understanding of operational technology (OT) and its convergence with information technology (IT) is critical. Experience within a publicly traded company is highly preferred.

Educational Credentials

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable.

Technical Acumen

Strategic and Business Acumen
