The SVP, Global HR will be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO and the executive leadership team. Your primary objective is to develop and execute a human resource strategy that directly supports the company’s long-term business plan. This includes leading initiatives in talent management, organizational design, leadership development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Strategic Leadership & Executive Partnership
Act as a strategic counsel to the CEO, board of directors, and executive team on all human capital matters. Translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies and initiatives that drive performance, growth, and profitability. Utilize data and analytics to inform decisions and provide insights on workforce trends, organizational health, and talent management.
Organizational Design & Effectiveness
Lead organizational design and development efforts to ensure the company structure is agile, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals. Guide the organization through periods of rapid growth and transformation, including potential M&A activities, by providing expert change management leadership.
Talent Management & Succession Planning
Architect and implement a comprehensive global talent management framework. Leadership Development

Total Rewards Strategy
Oversee the design and administration of a competitive global total rewards strategy. HR Operations & Technology
Drive operational excellence within the HR function. Evaluate and optimize HR systems (HRIS), processes, and policies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall employee experience. Champion the use of technology and data analytics to enhance HR service delivery.
Global Compliance & Employee Relations
Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations in all countries of operation. Oversee the employee relations function, providing guidance on complex issues and fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements for the SVP, Global HR with a Technology Hardware Company – Seattle, WA
- A minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 7-10 years in a senior HR leadership role (VP or SVP) for a global organization.
- Demonstrated experience leading the HR function for a publicly-traded technology, manufacturing, or hardware company is strongly required.
- Proven track record of serving as a strategic partner to the C-suite and Board of Directors, with the ability to influence and drive change at the highest levels of an organization.
- Deep expertise across all HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and HR systems.
- Significant experience managing HR in a complex, multi-national environment with employees across North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to understand and interpret financial statements and connect HR initiatives to business outcomes.
- Experience leading HR through periods of significant growth, transformation, and M&A activity, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
- A data-driven mindset with a proven ability to use metrics and analytics to inform strategy and measure success.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of building, developing, and inspiring high-performing global HR teams.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.
- Professional certifications such as SPHR, GPHR, or SHRM-SCP are a plus.
