The SVP, Corporate Treasury will have a broad and impactful scope of responsibilities, encompassing all facets of the treasury function. Success in this role requires a hands-on yet strategic approach to managing the company’s financial assets and liabilities.

Strategic Liquidity and Cash Management

Oversee and optimize the company’s global cash position, including the development of sophisticated cash flow forecasting models. Design and implement best-in-class cash management structures to maximize liquidity, optimize working capital, and ensure funds are available to meet operational and strategic needs across all global entities. Manage daily cash operations, including concentration, pooling, and disbursement activities.

Capital Markets and Financing Strategy

Lead the development and execution of the company’s long-term capital structure strategy. Continuously evaluate capital markets to identify and execute optimal financing solutions, including debt issuances (public and private), credit facilities, and equity-related transactions. Manage the entire deal lifecycle from origination to execution and ongoing compliance. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investment banks, commercial banks, and credit rating agencies.

Financial Risk Management

Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for identifying, measuring, and mitigating financial risks. This includes managing exposure to foreign exchange (FX) volatility, interest rate fluctuations, and counterparty credit risk. Design and execute sophisticated hedging strategies using various derivative instruments. Oversee the corporate insurance and risk management program to protect the company’s assets. A deep understanding of global financial risk management principles is essential.

Investment Portfolio Management

Direct the management of the company’s short-term and long-term investment portfolios. Establish and maintain an investment policy that balances objectives of capital preservation, liquidity, and yield. Oversee the selection and monitoring of external investment managers and ensure compliance with all investment policies and regulations.

Global Banking Relationships

Act as the primary point of contact for the company’s global banking partners. Lead negotiations for banking services, credit facilities, and other financial products. Conduct regular reviews of the banking structure to ensure it is cost-effective, efficient, and supportive of the company’s international growth.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global treasury team. Foster an environment of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Set clear goals and objectives for the team, and provide the resources and support necessary for their success.

Technology and Process Automation

Drive the strategic use of technology within the treasury function. Champion the implementation and optimization of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and other financial technologies to enhance efficiency, improve controls, and provide more insightful analytics.

Compliance and Reporting

Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Dodd-Frank, and other financial regulations. Oversee the preparation of treasury-related disclosures for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and manage internal and external audit processes for the treasury function. Prepare and present detailed reports on treasury activities to the CFO, executive team, and the Board of Directors.
