The EVP, Head of Corporate Development will have a broad and impactful mandate. Key responsibilities are segmented into several core areas of focus:
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Strategy and Execution
- Develop, refine, and champion the company’s global M&A strategy in alignment with long-term corporate objectives, product strategy, and market expansion goals.
- Build and maintain a robust, proprietary pipeline of potential acquisition targets, ranging from tuck-in technology acquisitions to large-scale, transformative mergers.
- Lead the entire M&A lifecycle with a hands-on approach: from initial target identification and strategic rationale development, through valuation, financial modeling, and comprehensive due diligence, to negotiating definitive agreements and closing transactions.

- Master the art of navigating complex M&A transactions, including managing legal, financial, and operational complexities inherent in public company deals.
Strategic Investments & Partnerships

Professional Experience & Track Record
- A minimum of 20+ years of progressive experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
- A significant portion of this experience must be in a senior leadership role, ideally as the Head of Corporate Development for a publicly-traded technology or financial services company.
- Direct and extensive experience within the FinTech, payments, SaaS, or enterprise software industries is mandatory.
- A demonstrable and verifiable track record of sourcing, leading, and closing a variety of complex transactions, including multi-billion dollar public company acquisitions, international deals, and strategic investments.
- Experience presenting to and advising C-level executives and a public company Board of Directors is required.
