Key Responsibilities of Chief Technology Officer with a Digital Marketing Platform – Austin, TX
Technology Vision and Strategic Leadership
Develop and articulate a compelling long-term technology vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. Create and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap, anticipating future market trends and technological advancements. Serve as the primary technology evangelist both internally and externally, representing the company at industry events, with clients, and to potential investors.
Engineering Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, globally distributed engineering organization. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Implement best practices for software development, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and robust quality assurance processes. Attract, hire, and retain top-tier engineering talent, building a diverse and inclusive team environment.
Product Development and Innovation
Partner closely with the Chief Product Officer to define and deliver an innovative product roadmap. Data Strategy and Security

Requirements for the Chief Technology Officer with a Digital Marketing Platform – Austin, TX
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering and technology, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CTO, VP of Engineering) for a B2B SaaS company.
- Proven experience within the MarTech, AdTech, or digital marketing industry is essential.
- Demonstrable experience scaling a technology organization and platform through periods of high growth.
