Intellectual Property (IP) Strategy
In partnership with legal counsel, direct the company’s global intellectual property strategy. Oversee the entire IP process, including invention disclosure, patent filing, freedom-to-operate analyses, and competitive IP intelligence to build and defend a formidable patent estate that provides a sustainable competitive advantage.
Regulatory & Clinical Excellence
Serve as a key strategic partner to the Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Affairs teams. Ensure that all R&D activities are conducted in strict compliance with global regulatory standards. Provide expert guidance on navigating complex FDA regulatory pathways (e.g., 510(k), De Novo, PMA) and international requirements (e.g., EU MDR/IVDR).
Executive & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a vital member of the senior executive leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. We are seeking an exceptional individual with a distinguished track record of innovation and leadership in the medical device sector. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Educational Background
An advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant technical field such as Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related life sciences discipline is required. An MBA or equivalent business degree is strongly preferred.
Executive Experience
