As CEO, you will report directly to the Board of Directors and will have full P&L responsibility. You will be the public face of the company, engaging with investors, strategic partners, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and regulatory bodies. Strategic Vision and Leadership

Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan that aligns with the company’s mission and drives shareholder value. Clearly articulate the company’s vision to all stakeholders, including employees, investors, partners, and the broader market. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation throughout the organization.

Capital Allocation and Fundraising

Serve as the chief architect of the company’s financial strategy. Lead future fundraising efforts (Series C and beyond), building and maintaining strong relationships with the investment community. Ensure disciplined capital allocation to maximize growth and achieve key milestones.

Commercialization and Go-to-Market Strategy

Spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercialization strategy for the company’s flagship products. Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, establishing sales, marketing, and business development functions. Forge strategic partnerships and collaborations to accelerate market penetration and revenue growth.

Operational Excellence

Product Development and Regulatory Strategy

Requirements for the Chief Executive Officer – Los Angeles, CA

Educational Background

An advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MD) is highly preferred. A background in life sciences, engineering, or a related field is a significant asset.

Executive Experience

A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience within the medical device, diagnostics, or biotechnology industry, with at least 5-7 years in a C-suite or General Manager role with full P&L responsibility.

Proven Fundraising Success

Demonstrable track record of successfully raising significant capital from venture capital, private equity, and/or public markets. Experience leading a company through multiple funding rounds (e.g., Series B, C, D) is essential.

Commercialization Expertise

Deep experience in bringing novel medical products from clinical development through regulatory approval (FDA 510(k) or PMA) and into successful commercial launch. Must possess a strong understanding of market access, reimbursement, and sales channel development.

Strategic and Financial Acumen

Exceptional strategic thinking and business planning skills. Strong command of financial management, budgeting, and corporate finance principles. Experience managing relationships with a board of directors and an investor syndicate.
