The VP, Global Supply Chain Resiliency will be the principal architect and strategist for the company’s end-to-end supply chain resilience program. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will be tasked with moving the organization from a reactive to a predictive and proactive stance on risk management. You will develop and implement a comprehensive framework to identify, assess, mitigate, and manage disruptions across a complex network of global suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and distribution channels. This role requires a leader who can blend deep operational expertise with strategic foresight, leveraging data, advanced analytics, and cutting-edge technology to build a truly intelligent and shock-resistant supply chain. Strategic Framework Development
Design, implement, and lead a global, multi-year supply chain resiliency strategy. This includes developing sophisticated scenario planning models, conducting rigorous stress tests on the existing network, and creating a comprehensive ‘playbook’ for various disruption scenarios (e.g., supplier failure, trade disputes, natural disasters, pandemics).
Global Risk Sensing and Intelligence
Establish a world-class risk intelligence capability to proactively monitor and analyze potential threats. This involves leveraging AI-powered analytics, geopolitical risk analysis services, and climate modeling to provide early warnings and actionable insights to the business.
Network Design and Optimization
Collaborate with supply chain planning and logistics teams to embed resiliency principles into the network design. Lead initiatives focused on strategic dual-sourcing, supplier diversification, regionalization of supply, and the optimal positioning of strategic inventory buffers to balance cost, service, and risk.
Supplier Risk and Relationship Management
Evolve the supplier relationship model to go beyond traditional procurement. Develop a tiered supplier risk management program, segmenting suppliers based on criticality and risk exposure. Foster deep, collaborative partnerships with key suppliers to build joint business continuity plans and enhance transparency.
Digital Transformation and End-to-End Visibility
Champion the adoption of advanced technologies to create a transparent, connected, and intelligent supply chain. Drive the implementation of solutions such as digital control towers, IoT for real-time asset tracking, blockchain for product traceability and provenance, and predictive analytics to anticipate disruptions before they occur.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Integration
Act as a central point of leadership, breaking down silos between Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams. Lead a cross-functional crisis management and response team, ensuring swift, coordinated, and effective action during a disruptive event.
Sustainability and ESG Integration
Champion the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the supply chain resiliency strategy. Demonstrate how sustainable practices, such as local sourcing and circular economy initiatives, inherently build a more robust and resilient long-term supply network.
Performance Management and Executive Reporting
Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply chain resiliency. Develop executive-level dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide clear visibility on risk exposure, mitigation progress, and the overall health of the resiliency program to the leadership team and Board of Directors.

Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
Professional Experience
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 7-10 years in a senior leadership capacity overseeing large, complex, global operations. Direct experience within the food & beverage, CPG, or a related industry with perishable goods is essential.
Proven Track Record
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale supply chain transformation, risk management, or business continuity programs. Must be able to provide specific examples of identifying a systemic risk and successfully implementing a strategy to mitigate it.
Leadership Competencies
Exceptional strategic thinking and visionary leadership skills. A proven ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of a global, matrixed organization, including C-suite executives. Must exhibit calm and decisive leadership under pressure.
Technical and Functional Expertise
Deep expertise in modern supply chain management principles, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), network modeling, logistics, and strategic procurement. Strong financial acumen and the ability to build a compelling business case for investment are critical. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning/visibility platforms is expected. Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or SCOR-P are highly advantageous.
