This executive will be the single-threaded owner of the entire talent acquisition ecosystem, from employer branding and sourcing to executive recruitment and early career programs. Global Talent Acquisition Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive and future-proof global talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term growth objectives, workforce plans, and business priorities. Utilize market intelligence and predictive analytics to anticipate future talent needs and build proactive talent pipelines for critical roles.
Leadership and Team Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a large, globally distributed team of talent acquisition professionals. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional service delivery. Structure the team for optimal efficiency and scalability, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and career development pathways.
Executive Recruitment and Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary recruiter and strategic partner for all executive-level (VP and above) searches. Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with C-suite executives, business unit leaders, and hiring managers, serving as a trusted advisor on all matters related to talent acquisition.
Process Optimization and Technology Innovation
Oversee and continuously improve the entire recruitment lifecycle to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and a best-in-class candidate experience. Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge recruitment technologies, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, AI sourcing tools, and assessment solutions.
Employer Branding and Candidate Attraction
In partnership with Corporate Communications and Marketing, design and execute a compelling global employer branding strategy to attract top-tier talent. Leverage digital and social media, industry events, and employee advocacy to position the company as a premier destination for professionals in the MedTech space.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Champion DEI principles throughout the entire talent acquisition process. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse slate of candidates for all roles. Partner with DEI leaders to establish metrics, drive accountability, and build a workforce that reflects the global communities the company serves.
Data Analytics and Reporting
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for the talent acquisition function. Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide the executive team with actionable insights into hiring trends, recruiting effectiveness (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire), and pipeline health.
Workforce Planning and Forecasting
Collaborate with the CHRO and finance leaders on strategic workforce planning initiatives. Translate business forecasts into actionable talent acquisition plans, ensuring the organization is prepared for future growth, new market entry, and skill set evolution.
Vendor and Partner Management
Manage relationships with external partners, including executive search firms, recruitment agencies, and technology vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure a high return on investment for all third-party services.

Experience
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role managing a large, global recruiting function for a complex, matrixed organization.
Industry Background
Significant experience within the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or a related regulated, high-growth technology industry is strongly preferred. A deep understanding of recruiting for specialized technical, clinical, and commercial roles is essential.
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree (MBA, MS-HRM) is highly desirable.
Strategic Acumen
Proven ability to think strategically and translate business needs into a cohesive and actionable talent acquisition strategy. Experience with change management and organizational transformation is a significant plus.
Leadership Presence
