The SVP, Head of Treasury Management will have a broad and impactful scope of responsibilities, encompassing strategic direction, sales leadership, product management, operational integrity, and team development.
Strategic Leadership & P&L Management
Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive multi-year strategic plan for the Treasury Management division that aligns with the bank’s overall corporate objectives. Assume full ownership of the division’s P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth, and expense management. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Sales & Business Development Leadership
Lead, mentor, and expand a team of Treasury Management Sales Officers (TMOs) to achieve and exceed ambitious sales and revenue goals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, processes, and performance metrics. Foster a culture of proactive, consultative selling and relationship management. Personally engage with key clients and prospects on complex deals, acting as a senior advisor and brand ambassador for the bank.
Product Management & Innovation
Oversee the entire treasury management product lifecycle, from ideation and business case development to launch, marketing, and ongoing performance analysis. Direct the product management team to ensure the bank’s suite of solutions—including payables, receivables, liquidity management, information reporting, and fraud prevention—is competitive, relevant, and profitable. Champion digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of fintech partnerships and emerging payment technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build and maintain strong partnerships with leaders in Commercial Banking, Private Banking, IT, Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless product delivery and a unified client experience. Develop and deliver robust training programs for Relationship Managers and other bank partners to enhance their ability to identify and refer treasury management opportunities.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
Ensure all treasury management activities, products, and services are delivered in a safe, sound, and compliant manner. Oversee the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate operational, regulatory, and reputational risk. Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, including BSA/AML, OFAC, and payment systems rules (ACH, Wire, Card).
Team Development & Mentorship
Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative, and client-centric culture within the Treasury Management division. Recruit, train, and retain top-tier talent. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities for all team members to build a strong succession pipeline.
Vendor and Fintech Partnership Management
Manage relationships with key third-party vendors and technology partners that support the treasury management platform. Evaluate potential new partners to enhance capabilities, improve efficiency, and drive innovation, ensuring favorable contract terms and diligent oversight.

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished professional with a proven track record of leadership and success within the banking and treasury management industry.
Educational Background
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
Professional Experience
A minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in treasury/cash management services within a commercial banking environment. At least 7-10 years of experience in a significant leadership role, with demonstrated success in managing a P&L, leading sales teams, and overseeing product management functions.
Technical Expertise
Deep subject matter expertise across a wide range of treasury management products and services, including ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, lockbox, positive pay, commercial cards, liquidity solutions (e.g., sweeps, zero-balance accounts), and online banking platforms.
Leadership Acumen
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team of professionals. A strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable results. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among senior executives, peers, and clients.
Sales & Commercial Orientation

Certifications
The Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is strongly preferred and highly valued.
