Key Responsibilities of SVP, Commercial Strategy with a FinTech Platform – Dallas, TX
Strategic Commercial Leadership
Develop, articulate, and execute a cohesive and aggressive commercial strategy that aligns with the company’s overarching business objectives. Own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for all products and services, ensuring successful market entry, adoption, and expansion.
Revenue Architecture & Growth
Assume full ownership of the company’s revenue targets and P&L for the commercial division. Design and implement scalable, predictable revenue models, including innovative pricing strategies, packaging, and monetization tactics to maximize market share and profitability.
Sales & Business Development Excellence
Lead the global sales and business development functions. Build and manage a high-performance sales organization, implementing rigorous sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics. Personally engage in and close key enterprise-level deals and strategic partnerships.

Customer-Centric Strategy

Requirements for the SVP, Commercial Strategy with a FinTech Platform – Dallas, TX
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive commercial experience, with at least 7 years in a senior executive leadership role (e.g., SVP, VP, CRO) responsible for a multi-faceted commercial organization.
Industry Expertise
Deep and demonstrable experience within the FinTech, B2B SaaS, or financial services technology sectors is essential. A strong understanding of payments, lending, banking platforms, or related technologies is highly advantageous.
Proven Scaler
A documented track record of successfully scaling a company from a significant revenue milestone to the next (e.g., $50M to $200M+ ARR). Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed environment is strongly preferred.
Strategic & Analytical Acumen
Superior strategic thinking and analytical skills. Ability to dissect complex problems, identify market opportunities, and develop data-driven, actionable plans to achieve ambitious goals.

Commercial Mastery

Strong command of financial metrics, P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience presenting to executive boards and investors is required.
Communication & Influence

Education
