Strategic Commercial Leadership & P&L Ownership
Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the company’s overall objectives and the value creation plan of our private equity partners. Assume full P&L responsibility for the division, meticulously managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve revenue and EBITDA targets.
Sales Organization & Revenue Generation
Lead, scale, and mentor a high-performance sales organization across all channels, including direct sales, inside sales, and channel partners. Implement a rigorous sales methodology, establish clear KPIs, and foster a culture of accountability and overachievement. Personally engage in key client negotiations and cultivate C-level relationships to close strategic deals.
Marketing & Brand Elevation
Oversee the entire marketing function to build a powerful brand presence and a predictable lead generation engine. Drive strategy across digital marketing, content marketing, product marketing, public relations, and demand generation to enhance market visibility and support sales objectives.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Market Expansion
Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities. Develop and execute strategies for entering new geographic markets, customer segments, and product verticals.
Data-Driven Operations & Reporting
Champion the use of data and analytics to drive decision-making across the commercial organization. Leverage CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and business intelligence tools to track performance, generate accurate forecasts, and provide transparent, insightful reporting to the CEO, Board of Directors, and private equity sponsors.
Team Development & Cultural Leadership
Recruit, train, and develop top-tier talent across the sales and marketing teams. Foster a collaborative, high-energy, and results-driven culture that attracts and retains the best professionals in the industry. Set a clear vision and inspire the team to achieve extraordinary results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work in close partnership with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Product Development teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from product ideation to post-sale support. Provide market feedback to guide new product development and ensure the company’s offerings remain at the forefront of the industry.
M&A Integration Support
As the company pursues strategic acquisitions, play a key role in the due diligence process and lead the post-acquisition integration of commercial teams, processes, and systems to realize synergies and accelerate growth.

Executive Leadership Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial experience, with at least 7 years in a senior executive leadership role (e.g., President, Chief Commercial Officer, VP of Sales & Marketing, General Manager) with full P&L responsibility.
Private Equity Environment
Demonstrable and significant experience working within a private equity-backed company is strongly preferred. Must possess a deep understanding of the pace, metrics, and value-creation mindset inherent in a PE environment.
Manufacturing Industry Expertise
Proven track record of success within a manufacturing environment is mandatory. Experience in sectors such as industrial goods, building products, engineered materials, or similar industries is highly desirable. A deep understanding of modern manufacturing principles and market dynamics, as detailed by leading industry bodies like the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), is essential.
Quantifiable Success
A history of achieving consistent, significant, and measurable results in revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion. Must be able to speak in detail about past successes with concrete data and examples.
Sales & Marketing Acumen
Mastery of complex sales processes, channel strategies, and modern B2B marketing techniques. Expertise in building and managing sophisticated sales funnels and leveraging digital tools for growth.
Financial Acumen
Strong command of financial statements, budget management, and the key levers that drive profitable growth. Must be comfortable presenting financial performance and strategic plans to a sophisticated board and investors.
Educational Background
