Chief Information Security Officer AI Security – AI Enabled Cyber Platform Tampa FL

Role Overview for Chief Information Security Officer (AI Security) – AI-Enabled Cyber Platform | Tampa, FL

JRG Partners is exclusively representing a trailblazing force in the cybersecurity industry, a company at the vanguard of leveraging Artificial Intelligence to redefine digital defense. Our client has developed a revolutionary, AI-enabled cyber platform that provides predictive, adaptive, and autonomous security solutions to a global portfolio of enterprise clients. As they enter a new phase of accelerated growth and technological innovation, they are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with deep expertise in AI Security to join their executive leadership team in Tampa, FL.

This is not a traditional CISO role. You will be the central pillar of security for a company whose very product is security, powered by the most advanced AI and machine learning models. The CISO will be responsible for a dual mandate: first, to establish and maintain a world-class, enterprise-wide information security and risk management program to protect our client’s corporate assets, infrastructure, and data. Second, and most critically, to provide expert oversight and governance for the security of the AI/ML models and systems that form the core of their product offering. This includes safeguarding against adversarial AI attacks, ensuring model integrity, and championing ethical AI principles.

As a key member of the executive team, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Product Officer (CPO) to embed security into every facet of the product lifecycle and corporate strategy. You will be the ultimate authority on information security, guiding the company through a complex and evolving threat landscape while enabling business innovation and maintaining customer trust. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise in both cybersecurity and AI, exceptional executive leadership, and a forward-thinking strategic mindset. You will be the trusted advisor to the board and executive team on all matters of cyber risk, shaping the company’s security posture and influencing the future of AI-driven cybersecurity.
