Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Principal, Private Equity will drive strategy, value creation, and operational performance, translating the value-creation plan into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities of Principal, Private Equity, Private Equity

The role will drive value creation, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

Value-Creation Execution

Translate the value-creation plan into actionable initiatives and lead their execution.

Performance Management

Establish KPIs, reporting, and an operating cadence that drive accountability.

Operational Improvement

Identify and lead operational-improvement initiatives across functions.

Strategy & Growth

Support strategy, growth, and commercial initiatives that build enterprise value.

Financial Performance

Own or influence key financial outcomes and deliver against plan.

M&A & Add-Ons

Support acquisitions, add-ons, and integration from diligence through execution.

Operational Due Diligence

Support operational due diligence on new investments.

Data & Analytics

Build analytics and reporting that surface insight and track progress.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Partner across functions and portfolio teams to drive execution.

Change Management

Lead change management to embed and sustain improvement.

Sponsor & Board Partnership

Partner with sponsors, boards, and leadership on strategy and performance.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

Lead teams and influence stakeholders to drive results.

Requirements for the Principal, Private Equity, Private Equity

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is required; an MBA is strongly preferred.

Experience

Operations, consulting, or value-creation experience, including work with private equity-backed companies.

A proven track record driving measurable operational and financial improvement.
