Key Responsibilities of VP, Supply Chain Performance with a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) – Memphis, TN
The VP, Supply Chain Performance will have a broad and impactful scope of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
Develop, articulate, and implement the long-term vision and strategy for supply chain performance. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics that align with corporate objectives, client Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and profitability targets.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all facilities and functional areas. Lead initiatives to identify and eliminate waste, reduce process variation, and enhance productivity using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma. Conduct regular operational audits and business reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of supply chain data to generate actionable insights. Develop sophisticated dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide real-time visibility into performance for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Client Partnership & Solution Design
