Product Vision and Strategy
Develop, articulate, and champion a clear and compelling long-term product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall mission and business objectives. Market and Customer Intelligence
Serve as the company’s foremost expert on the customer, the market, and the competition. Conduct continuous market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and strategic opportunities within the cybersecurity landscape.
Team Leadership and Development

Product Lifecycle Management

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build strong, collaborative relationships with leaders across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer to develop and execute effective GTM strategies. Data-Driven Decision Making

Executive Leadership and Communication

Requirements for the Chief Product Officer with a Cybersecurity Software Co. – Austin, TX
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity (e.g., VP of Product, Head of Product) for a B2B SaaS company.
Cybersecurity Domain Expertise
Deep and demonstrable experience within the cybersecurity industry is essential. You must possess a strong understanding of core security concepts, market segments (e.g., endpoint security, cloud security, identity and access management, threat intelligence), and the evolving threat landscape.
Proven Leadership
