The SVP, Head of Operations will have a broad and critical set of responsibilities, focusing on strategic execution, process optimization, and team leadership. Success in this role will be measured by the company’s ability to scale efficiently, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and achieve its ambitious financial targets.
Strategic Leadership & Execution
Collaborate closely with the CEO and the executive team to develop and refine the company’s long-term operational strategy. Translate high-level corporate goals into actionable, data-driven operational plans and departmental objectives. Lead the operational due diligence for potential M&A targets and spearhead the post-acquisition integration of teams, processes, and systems to ensure seamless transitions and rapid value realization.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all operational functions. Implement frameworks for achieving operational excellence in healthcare technology delivery, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar paradigms. Establish, monitor, and report on a comprehensive set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance, identify bottlenecks, and inform strategic decisions. Scalability and Infrastructure Development
Design and implement scalable processes and systems that can support the company’s rapid growth trajectory. Proactively assess and upgrade the operational infrastructure, partnering with the CTO to ensure technology systems can meet future demands. Evaluate, select, and manage the implementation of new operational tools (e.g., CRM, PSA, support ticketing systems) to enhance efficiency and data visibility.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a large and diverse organization encompassing Customer Success, Professional Services, Implementation, and Technical Support. Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and accountable culture that attracts and retains top talent. Develop clear career paths and training programs to ensure the continuous professional growth of your team members. Structure the operations department for scale, ensuring the right talent is in the right roles to meet evolving business needs.
Financial Management & P&L Ownership
Assume full P&L responsibility for the operations department. Develop and manage the annual operating budget, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals. Drive initiatives to improve gross margins, optimize operational spend, and enhance overall profitability. Provide regular, transparent reporting on operational and financial performance to the executive team, Board of Directors, and private equity sponsors.
Customer Lifecycle Management
Oversee the entire post-sale customer journey, from onboarding and implementation to ongoing support and success. Develop strategies to maximize customer lifetime value, reduce churn, and increase Net Promoter Score (NPS). Serve as a point of executive escalation for critical customer issues, demonstrating a deep commitment to customer satisfaction and partnership.

We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of operational leadership and success in high-growth, technology-driven environments. The specific qualifications and attributes we are looking for include:
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive professional experience, with at least 7-10 years in a senior operational leadership role (e.g., VP of Operations, SVP of Operations, COO) within a technology company.
Industry Expertise
Deep experience in the HealthTech or enterprise SaaS industry is strongly required. A thorough understanding of the complexities of selling to and supporting healthcare systems, providers, or payers is highly desirable.
Private Equity Environment
Demonstrable and significant experience working within a private equity-backed company is a non-negotiable requirement. Candidates must understand the cadence, metrics (Rule of 40, LTV:CAC, Net Revenue Retention), and value-creation playbook common to PE ownership.

Educational Background

Financial Acumen
