Responsibilities of the Project Director:
As the Project Director, you will:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of data center construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and under budget.
- Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and vendors, to achieve seamless project delivery.
- Client Collaboration: Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing regular project updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Control: Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure financial targets are met. Address variances proactively to maintain profitability.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Problem Resolution: Anticipate potential issues and develop strategic solutions to mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Experience: 12+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data center projects.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in construction management software (Procore or similar) and familiarity with data center infrastructure.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage high-stakes projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Client Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing client relationships.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications like PMP are preferred.
