As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Project Director to lead their efforts in the Washington region.

Responsibilities of the Project Director – K-12 Schools Construction:

  • Project Planning and Strategy: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for K-12 school construction projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for school boards, educational institutions, and stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
  • Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, manage resources efficiently, and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, building codes, and educational facility standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years in construction leadership roles, preferably in K-12 school projects.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, construction software (Procore experience preferred).
  • Educational Facility Knowledge: Familiarity with school building codes and regulations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
