As they expand their portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to spearhead their efforts in educational construction and ensure operational success.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

As a Senior Project Manager in K-12 schools construction, you will:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of K-12 school construction projects, from planning to completion.
  • Budget & Timeline Management: Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient and timely delivery.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to maintain smooth operations.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact with school boards and public stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in K-12 or public works construction.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in construction software such as Procore or Primavera.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
