Responsibilities:
As a Construction Superintendent, you’ll have the unique role of ensuring safety standards, quality control, and seamless team operations directly at the project site. Key duties include leading field operations and supervising subcontractors and labor teams.
- Construction Site Leadership: Lead restaurant and retail construction projects from planning to delivery.
- On-Site Team Coordination: Manage architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Budget & Schedule Control: Develop and oversee project budgets and timelines.
- Stakeholder and Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates are skilled in hands-on construction management, with a strong knowledge of safety protocols (e.g., OSHA certification preferred) and experience managing daily on-site operations and staff coordination.
- 7+ years of experience managing restaurant and retail construction projects.
- Strong leadership and construction skills.
- Knowledge of retail design trends and restaurant construction standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field; Pmp certifications – not needed.
- Procure experience is a plus.
