Responsibilities of Project Coordinator – Distribution Construction:

As a Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Support Project Managers: Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Manage documentation, track project progress, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to maintain alignment with project timelines.
  • Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring budgets, ensuring project expenditures stay on track.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all projects follow regulatory guidelines, safety protocols, and client requirements.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify potential issues early and work with the team to resolve challenges efficiently.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in distribution or industrial construction.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction software such as Procore or Microsoft Project.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to manage vendors and stakeholders effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
