A Day in the Life:
As the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), your role will include:
- Regulatory Oversight: Ensuring all tilt wall construction projects adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Policy Development: Creating and implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure the company’s operations meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identifying and assessing compliance risks across projects and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Training and Education: Leading compliance training programs for staff to ensure they are aware of and understand relevant regulations and standards.
- Audits and Inspections: Conducting regular audits and inspections of construction sites to ensure ongoing compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, site supervisors, and legal teams to address compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key issues, corrective actions, and overall compliance status.
- Continuous Improvement: Keeping up to date with changes in regulations and industry standards, and continuously improving the firm’s compliance framework.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in compliance roles within the construction industry, with a focus on tilt wall projects.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local construction regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate staff at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance programs and policies.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues.
