A Day in the Life:
As a Traveling Tiltwall Quality Control Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Attending pre-construction meetings to understand project requirements and quality expectations.
- Developing and implementing quality control plans specific to tiltwall construction projects.
- Conducting regular inspections of tiltwall panels and construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Documenting all inspection results and ensuring that all work meets the required quality standards.
- Coordinating with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to address any quality concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensuring that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
- Providing detailed reports to project management on quality control findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Traveling to various construction sites across the region to conduct inspections and ensure quality across all projects.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and standards related to tiltwall construction.
- Collaborating with the entire construction team to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and project delivery.
Necessary Qualifications:
- 5-20 years of experience in construction quality control, with a focus on tiltwall projects.
- Strong knowledge of tiltwall construction techniques, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of quality in every aspect of construction.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required by project locations.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software to document and report on quality control activities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
