As the Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing large-scale facilities that serve as essential hubs in logistics networks. Responsibilities of Superintendent:
As the Superintendent for distribution center construction, your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Planning and Execution: Collaborating with stakeholders to develop detailed project plans and timelines.
- Team Coordination: Managing cross-functional teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure smooth project operations.
- Client Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing challenges.
- Compliance and Safety Management: Ensuring all construction activities adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks to keep the project on track and within budget.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing distribution center or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of logistics infrastructure, material handling systems, and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Pmp certifications – not needed.
- Procure experience is a plus.
