Responsibilities:

As a Construction Superintendent, you’ll have the unique role of ensuring safety standards, quality control, and seamless team operations directly at the project site. Key duties include leading field operations and supervising subcontractors and labor teams.

  • Project Leadership: Manage all phases of data center construction projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • On-Site Team Coordination: Lead teams of engineers, architects, and contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Stakeholder and Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing challenges.
  • Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with industry regulations and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates are skilled in hands-on construction management, with a strong knowledge of safety protocols (e.g., OSHA certification preferred) and experience managing daily on-site operations and staff coordination.

  • 7+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on data center construction.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure for data centers.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Pmp certifications – not needed.
  • Procure experience is a plus.
