Responsibilities of Senior Project Manager:
As the Senior Project Manager – Multifamily Housing Construction, your role will include:
- Project Planning and Execution: Overseeing all phases of multifamily housing construction, from design to project closeout.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Developing project budgets, timelines, and work plans while ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Team Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Quality Assurance: Monitoring all construction activities to meet quality standards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Client Communication: Serving as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience: 10+ years of project management experience in multifamily housing or residential construction.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with project management software (Procore preferred).
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
