As they expand operations, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead key aviation projects in the Raleigh area.
Industry Overview:
Aviation stream involves the development and renovation of airports, runways, and supporting infrastructure. These projects demand detailed planning, compliance with federal aviation regulations, and close coordination with airport authorities. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading critical projects that support air travel operations and enhance passenger services, ensuring all work meets FAA and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage aviation projects from initiation through completion, including runway expansions and terminal upgrades.
- Team Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and contractors to meet project goals.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for airport authorities, airlines, and key stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with FAA regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in aviation or infrastructure construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of aviation industry regulations, including FAA standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP certification is a plus.
