Responsibilities of Project Manager – Healthcare Construction:
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans and schedules in collaboration with architects and healthcare providers.
- Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial goals are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns proactively.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with healthcare construction standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve challenges swiftly to maintain project timelines.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in managing healthcare construction projects.
- Proven ability to lead projects with budgets exceeding $20 million.
- Familiarity with construction management software (experience with Procore preferred).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare-specific building codes and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
