Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator – K-12 Schools Construction:
As a Project Coordinator, you will:
- Project Support: Assist project managers and construction teams in organizing schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Document Management: Maintain and track project documents, permits, and contracts to ensure compliance.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate smooth project operations.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between architects, contractors, and school administrators to ensure project updates are shared.
- Issue Tracking: Identify and report project challenges or delays, working with the team to resolve issues quickly.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a construction-related project support role, ideally within K-12 or educational projects.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
